Introduction

A busy homeowner who wanted a solution that was low effort to maintain, and fit within her budget. Both tarmac and concrete solutions were four times her budget, but also required more maintaining that she anticipated - a stone drive ticked all the boxes.

The Project:

The requirements were:

• Removing excess grass, moss and debris

• Level entire driveway plus compaction

• Lay weed barrier

• Spread and level stone

Sounds straightforward, but the trickiest part of the job was getting the material to the site which was located in a remote part of Cork.

Overall the project was a big success - taking three days to complete and consumed 60 tonne of 20mm burnt sandstone chip
