Introduction

The homeowners decided after twenty years of touch-ups, that they would invest in a complete makeover of their outside space. Tarmac and concrete solutions were not feasible, but more importantly wanted to have a solution that offered them a low maintenance need and colour options to match their new paint scheme.

Project Details

The project needed a three day turnaround, and the team worked long hours to meet the project requirements, including;

• Remove existing chips that have been topped up over the years

• Regrade and level surface, including compaction

• Lay weed barrier

• Prepare and pour concrete slab for the new position of oil tank

• Spread and level new decorative chip

To cover the 400sqm site, the project took 80 tonne of 20mm burnt sandstone chip.
